Guitar in 17th Century
They are so many Moors people that live in South Spanish, and they keep their tradition in there and at that time Al-Ud was not really popular. Spanish called the musical instrument as Mooriska means Moors Musical instrument.
For the first time Mooriska is not really popular, but after year and year, Spanis Musician start to get interested with the Instrument because Mooriska can produce unique sound. At that time is start for people to develop its shape, and the total of the Dawai (String) to make the sound or the tone to be more aligned with the song that Spanish musician want to play. That is why at the final Mooriska change its shape and can be known as Chitarra Spagnola (Spanish Cyttern). But the Dawai (String) still made from Gut (Animal muscle) but thinner and the total is not the same yet. At that time people love to play it with 5 Dawais attached. Chittara Spagnola spread in Italy and through phase of phase of development.
From its change and development there is a music instrument created and we can call it as Gitarra, but the size is smaller than the Guitar nowadays, and the number of the Dawai is not the same. Many people think that Guitar is already invented in this Century, but it doesnt have the number of Dawa, kinf od the Dawai, and the way of tuning the instrument is not the same yet.
