History of Guitar
Guitar is a stringed instrument from Moors that can be called as AL-UD. The guitar has many forms and many kinds of Dawai. They were made from Gut (animal muscle). AL-UD was brought to Europe by Italian from Roman Empire from Persian. That is why Italian called Al-UD as Persian Tanbur. In Europe, musical instrument change and adept. For guitar it has changes with its shape, the total of the Dawai, kind of the Dawai, and the way to tune the instrument can be diverse.
Persian Tanbur already created and adapt in Europe, it make the instrument has many different kind of name. It called Cyttern in English. Cyttern is the result of the development and adjustment with Music with other local culture, that is why there is English Cyttern, French Cyttern, Italian Cyttern, German Cyttern, and many other Cyttern in Europe. The total and the quality of Dawai always develop with reason to make song is unlimited. One of the result from the Cyttern developement that can give matching sound and aligned with the Europian music is Romanian lute. They are so many people love this instrument, especially people from Italy, German, Britian, and Austria.
