Name: Robert de Visée

            Robert de Visee was a famous French guitarist in the 16th century and in the 17th Century. He was born in 1655 and he died in 1732. At the time of his career, he was the first court musician to Louis XIV, and in 1709 he was chose to be a singer for royal chamber. So first of all Robert de Visee was acceptd to be King Louis the 14th in the age of 25. He used to composed gitarra, lute, and theorbo music. That is why he was an important guitar composer in Paris. In 1682 was the time of his book about gitarra works was published. He was one of the favorite musician for King Louis the 14th. Because of his musicship he was recognized in France's government sea in the same year. 

             In 1709 he was appointed to be a royal chamber singern and he performed courts concert and he also lead the musical figures like Jean-Baptiste Lully, and viola da gamba player Antoine Forqueray. With the cause of this in the 1719 he was known as "Guitar Master of the King" or in their language is "Maître de Guitare du Roi". He was the master of Baroque Gittar player. His famous style of song are dance song, allemande, minuet, and bourrée. He was died peacefully in sometime between 1732 or 1733.
